Multan, Pakistan, September 2, 2008--A crowd gathers to watch a grain market engulfed in flames.

The massive blaze torched at least a hundred shops, according to The Nation, an English-language newspaper in Pakistan.

Commodities worth millions of U.S. dollars were lost in the fire, sparking concerns of price spikes and supply shortages in parts of southern Punjab Province.

No deaths were reported from the blaze, which was caused by a short circuit.
